Handwritten cards are one great way to express your thoughts and feelings, have you written one lately?
In this time and age when almost every individual has a mobile phone, tablet, or computer to use to send messages, would you still like to receive handwritten messages? The answer could be a yes, or a maybe, right? Although it is easier and faster to send out messages through email or SMS format, do we not feel there’s something missing sometimes? Yes, you were able to relay the message but the connection and the truest emotion the sender is imparting may not be felt at all. In fact, it may even be misinterpreted. This mostly happens when computerized written messages or cards are sent out to someone special to you.
^Call Center Agents’ Daily Prayer
After the government’s mandate, almost all the BPO companies here in the Philippines have implemented the “Return To Office” (RTO) call for their employees. Being employed in one, I am pleased to be part of a company that prioritizes their employee’s health and safety – since we obviously still are in a pandemic situation. TaskUs has prepared all their sites to have the smoothest and safest possible employees transition from the work from home set up. The company has decided to call their employees to return to the office on a gradual basis. This means the RTO requirement will be in batches.
So, here’s an effective prayer I have been saying (even during the work-from-home setup) as a call center agent that I would like to share with you. This is an excerpt from the “Straight from the Heart; A Prayer Companion” book which was compiled and edited by Rev. Fr. Mario Jose C. Ladra.
Prayer of a Call center Agent
Heavenly Father, thank you for enabling me to be a call center agent.
Guide and bless me to be always at my best, as I perform roles of serving, connecting, and communicating with our clients.
Give me the grace to deal with them with patience and wisdom.
Help me to exercise teamwork, camaraderie, and respect for my fellow workers.
Keep me healthy in body, mind, and spirit, and grant me your inspiration of being and becoming a model of professionalism.
Lord, I also ask you to shield and protect me always from all dangers and temptations.
This I ask in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
St. Gabriel the Archangel,
patron of communication,
pray for us.
I may not be part of the employees who are required to return to the office setup, but I will sure continue to keep saying this prayer. May this prayer help other agents with their daily tasks to provide the best customer service possible and battle to keep safe amidst the situation the world is in now. Be safe everyone! Cheers!
Take Control of Your Finances: Big or Small, it matters
Ever wonder how to take control of your finances before or even during a pandemic? I’m no pro on this but there are things I learned when I joined a well-known insurance company as a part-time insurance advisor about five years ago. Our family is just one of the thousands whose financial difficulties and struggles are common, but facing these issues with family finances during a pandemic is something else. In fact, quite difficult.
Here are five tips you can take on to succeed in this difficult part of adulthood.
1. Review your Finances
Knowing how and where you spend your money is the first key element in saving. So how do you really manage your finances? It is best to review and itemize these expenses and consider using the fixed and variable categories.
An example of a fixed expense is your monthly recurring fee for the internet service, or even the monthly installment due for your child’s tuition fee.
There are hundreds of gift suggestions and ideas out there for your friends and loved ones, a fact that makes us a little more confused in deciding. Who doesn’t like receiving gifts, anyways?
I have always been on the practical side in making gift decisions. But even if you are being practical, you just can’t give a bath towel to each on your list. There is always something off in that, right?
A friend’s personality, a relative’s hobby, and a nephew or niece’s wish list are things that we have to always consider. It is as well important to set a certain budget for each, especially during these times when everyone is on a tight budget because of the pandemic.
So, let me share with you gift suggestions for 10 people in your life, and these might be something that could help you decide before you dare visit the mall or shop online.
With the world still grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic as we enter 2021, we are still forced to isolate as much as possible and avoid going out. As a result, our traditional methods of going out and enjoying family nights still aren’t available for the time being. That being said, there still are a plethora of indoor activities that you and your family can enjoy. These activities can be done regardless of whether you just closed on one of the Omaha houses for sale recently or have lived in the same family home for years. You don’t need much to pull these activities off, which is a huge part of their appeal.
So what exactly are these great indoor family activities? Let’s take a look.
