As we were waiting for all the finalists to finish their performances, we already have Astig Pinoy as our champion this season. WE, as I was with my daughters that time we watched Showtime. Astig Pinoy was totally awesome! Their grand finals performance was a combination of our unique culture and unique hip movements. As Joey Marquez mentioned, it was a right choice of music and good interpretation of it. It was quite predictable who will champ this season right after Astig Pinoy performed. Their talents are really inspiring, admiring and totally ASTIG! Awesome performance! Vice Ganda said it right, the blind folded Tinikling act/dance was the highlight of their performance and the most amazing act there was in the history of Showtime. Way better than the hip dances, loops, jumps and acrobats we have seen.
Congratulations Astig Pinoy! You guys rock and will definitely go a long way. Cheers to your success!

I missed the finals, mostly because I moved and cable has not been installed yet. 🙁
actually i am not into watching tv lately, but definitely i am very much aware of Pinoy’s creativity and excellence in terms of performance 🙂 Good luck to Astig Pinoy!
They were great. Dancing our folk dances in combination of hip hop is such a great idea. Congratulations to them!

I think i saw them perform once … bagay nga name nila for them. I just hope they get more gigs out of this. Sayang ang talent.

Filipinos are loaded with talents no wonder some of us are known internationally.
I am so proud of them coz one of them is a family friend. 🙂 and most of all they are from Mindanao! So Proud!!!
I liked thair blindfolded tinikling routine the most.
I’m not really familiar with the showtime’s contestants this year. But I know that there are a lot of talented people especially young ones in the Philippines. They are creative and passionate of their crafts.
I’m really at a loss lol…will look for this talented pinoys… 😀

I love their performance, but for me, the real winner is the Baile de Luces

I wasn’t able to watch it and I haven’t heard anything from any of my friends too. I don’t know. Maybe di na amsyadong pinapanood ang Showtime? Believe it or not, dito ko lang nalaman na yan ang nanalo. Anyway, congrats sa kanila. 🙂
I rarely watch tv and if I do, the only clear channel I got is channel 7.
I often watch showtime but I didn’t watch the Grand Finals. Good that you have provided the link of the video.
