These are new sets I made out of my toddler’s shots.

See how she’s becoming a little vain? These photos are of hers, taken by her. I often tell her not to do these kind of shots since the flash might cause eye issues. After the many reminders, I found her exploring the camera’s features and has learned to disable flash. Whoooah! So much for a 2 year old kid!

She’s made new shots which are near perfect. Something that makes me proud and will definitely post soon.

Getting better yet?

These were taken one morning as I was preparing  my elder daughter for school.

Notice that Roey took photos while she’s lying in the bed. We unintentionally woke her up because of the noise we made that morning. To my surprise, Roey’s first words that morning – “Where is?” – And she was referring to the digital camera which resulted to these photos. That’s her in White crocheted beanie.

My toddler showed her love for the camera at an early stage, and I like it! She’s just like me then. I have decided to delete some of her shots maybe but saved the ones that I liked and started documenting them. I would love to see how her talent develops. Here’s what I have saved so far:

That’s the photographer in the middle. My toddler Roey.

I will post few more sets in the future so you can also check out improvements.

A Rottweiler, Amber is just almost a year old yet he’s so big.

It’s her bath time.

These first photos were taken with my assistance of course but the last one is all hers. I am referring to my almost 2yo daughter who has liked gadgets at her young age. She’s using a portable DVD player, a GameBoy, an Apple ipod and the latest which I think is what she liked most of all is our digital camera. She kept watching her own video in it for how she learned to turn it ON, I am not sure but most probably by observing. She also knows how to go back and forth to the view and shooting mode. Clever little girl she is! She in fact woke up from her afternoon nap one time and suddenly asked: “Where is?”  I later on found out that she’s referring to the camera. I will definitely have a separate album of her shots for I have found a lot of them to be funny. =)

“Some beach, somewhere. There’s a big umbrella casting shade over an empty chair.

Palm trees are growin’ and a warm breeze a blowing.

I picture myself right there, on some beach, somewhere.”

— Blake Shelton

This was taken at a beach resort in Batangas, Philippines. I missed joining the family reunion/summer getaway but will make it a point to be present next year. Photo credits to Jennilyn.

Again, trying my hands in digital scrapbooking using an old photo of my daughter Keanna. This was taken more than 2 years ago at a park about 20 mins away from us. I’m sharing it to Harriet’s Shadow Shot Sunday. For more awesome entries, just go ahead and click on the badge below. Have fun!

My daughter, when this was taken was about 4 years old… she’s now turning 9 by July. In this featured photo, she’s delighted to have a luces, it’s a small type of firework you held by your hand.  And this by the way was taken New Year’s eve, as we welcome 2007. The reason why I’ve chosen this to upload is because you can no longer have my daughter hold a lighted luces like this one. I’m not sure why though but definite that she’s never had a bad experience about it. She cried the last time I lighted one and gave to her. On the contrary, it is actually okay to me as her mom. I guess my daughter has learned from other people’s experiences. We often see videos of people who accidentally lost some of their fingers or had bloody experiences playing with fireworks. That’s always in the news after or even before New Year’s eve. There are just some who likes to break rules, that is why.

Anyways, here’s my entry for Shadow Shot Sunday. My first in this new blog site where I’d like to share my hobbies and interests. Used a digital camera here, no flash, no edits. I truly welcome comments, suggestions and even critical remarks, hehe!

I can maybe call myself a hobbyist. I love to click even if I’m just using an old digital camera. I took these photos last March at the cemetery and edited the colors via PS. I am really wanting to get a DSLR camera which I have already posted here.

One reason I’m posting these is because I’d like to learn more in terms of photography and PS too. Your comments and suggestions are definitely welcome. Thanks for your time.
