Mother
Last May 6 was my Mama’s 70th birthday …could have been, I mean. I thought of scrapping to give tribute to her. Credits to Studio Flergs and LorieM for the paper and embellishments I used. Here was my FB post then…
Happy birthday MAMA!
I know, if you were only alive and with us today, you would have been so happy to celebrate your 70th year. I could have granted a great wish of yours or perhaps brought you to a place you’ve never been.
These will no longer happen, but in my heart, I know that you are in bliss! You are in a much happier place than in any place here on Earth and I could never surpass the greatest gift you have now – being with HIM. I LOVE YOU, MA! I am wishing on your behalf now, that somehow, you have never forgotten that, even if we’re no longer together. You know what? It makes me smile when I look at the mirror now and see our resemblance. I would not forget how we make fun and joke about our appearances when I was young and no matter how hard we pick flaws at each other – we end up agreeing we’re both petite and beautiful. There’s a lot more to reminisce Mama, and if it is possible there in heaven to get a free movie on your birthday, hope you’d pick to see our life together.
Remember the kidnapping attempt of a demented woman when I was 3? I am just sooooooo thankful & happy it didn’t succeed – I got to be with my remarkable MAMA. Again, just what I have told you years ago… I would never trade you! You are the BEST mother for me and your granddaughters. We LOVE you so much! Mwah!
And again, with all our hearts – Happy Mother’s Day too!
For me, as a Mother – you have got it all!

Inspiring Words to Share
When I was little, you’ll find me doodling and reading more than I am in front of the computer now. Besides the fact that I love drawing, we did not really have a computer yet then. Ha! Ha!
Kidding aside, here are some words to inspire us this time of the year. I know for a fact that a lot of us are on “vacation” right now, enjoying. But there are still a lot of us too, that is taking the time to do a little soul searching and some others repent their sins in many simple and complex ways they can. but however we spend our Holy Week, these words would sure remind us of something about us and much more, about life.
Humility, bravery, love, trust, family values, peace, friendship and positivism are just some of what we, as humans, should really incorporate within ourselves. It may be a little hard but with open-mindedness and HIS guidance, we will be who we want to be and should be, we will get to where we belong and we should be – slowly but surely.

KidsDoodle Apps Inspired Ate K
My elder daughter, K , has always been interested in arts. She is into painting and drawing. I have saved some of her old artworks (when she was still younger) and some we can no longer find. From the mess of watercolors, pencils, markers and crayons, her interest in drawing has evolved. Now, she’s enjoying her ability either using MS Paint or this application I got for her from Google Play – KidsDoodle!
Here are some of her doodles using the said application…

Besides K, my younger daughter showed interest too. Roey can already write letters from A to D and has been doodling too using crayons and water color. Her big sister once showed her the KidsDoodle application and out of curiosity, she tried using it too.
So, last but not the least, here is something my 3yo daughter, Roey, created…
In case you are wondering what that is, she drew a letter A and a W. As I have mentioned, we were practicing writing and currently at the letter D but she has already learned W in advance. Hooray for that, hooray for her drawing and another hooray for being able to use the apps without further instructions. Kids nowadays…

Losing a Mother
Yesterday was my Mama’s 2nd death anniversary. We offered a mass for her soul and dropped by the cemetery. I’ve been dreaming of her almost every week which made me truly miss her. These adjectives aren’t enough to describe how wonderful she’s been not just to me but to my kids and so as my friends. A lot can testify on that.
Losing a Mother is really though but it has made me tougher as a person and a Mom too. I could not thank my Mom enough for all of what she taught and imparted me. As go on with life, I feel so blessed and lucky that I was once her baby. If given another chance to live, I would like her to be my Mother again.
Mama, I miss you! We miss you!
We hope that you are so much happier now in heaven!
We love you! ?

A Hobby & A Giveaway!
My friend asked me to make an invitation and tarpaulin for my Godson Miggi’s 3rd birthday. I gladly said yes sine I haven’t done any scrapbooking lately. I decided to look for freebies that I can use for the Angry Birds theme. I found one from Shery K Designs and I am very thankful that it made my project cute and it was done with ease. I also found a Dora The Explorer and Minni Mouse theme I might download too in preparation for my daughter’s birthday as well. This site is really awesome.
Thank you as well to my friend Hazel who owns Funtastic Shots Photobooth. She helped me with some Photoshop tips. I am happy with the outcome of the Angry bird themed invitation and tarp I made specially for Miggi.

Holiday e-Greeting Card
I saw my friend’s daughter posted something interesting in Facebook and so I went ahead and checked the application and its website- WiddlyTinks.com. I immediately tried how to make my own Holiday greeting card. I got lost a little with how to resize the photo but glad to have figured it out. I was already thinking on what and how to ask a 7 year old girl how she did it. haha!

Here’s my younger daughter greeting you all an early Merry Christmas!
