My Pinterest account has been in existence for quite some time now. It has caught my attention with the graphics/photos in it. I still can recall that everything has started as a hobby and now, Pinterest for me has become Pinterest-ing! It is not just PInterest though, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram too! In short, these social media websites are part of the reasons why we have a lot to be thankful for.
I remember to have created boards for photography, fashion (kids and ladies), sewing & DIY ideas, kitchen & baking supplies and tools, inspiring quotes and what I named: Dream House Project.
If you already have a Pinterest account, you can follow me – SEPTEMBERCHARM so we can get to exchange ideas thru pins. If you would like to be inspired in building your own dream house, follow KCK and you will sure be amaze on a number of ideas you can get, from cabinets, bathrooms, kitchens to dinnerware.
My dream house project has almost everything in it, I suppose. I have photos of bedrooms, kitchens, backyards, libraries, laundry rooms and a lot more. I have recently shared a photo in Facebook (I got from PInterest) which caught my attention, a backyard with flower and vegetable garden. I have even mentioned that having something like that is one of my many dreams. I definitely would like to have even a small one if we would be blessed to own a home we can call our own. And I will make it a point to learn how to nurture everything Green that will grow in that dream backyard garden in which later on can be used in cooking! I love to cook too!

A number of parents have already ventured into Bento. Be it their kids’ snack or lunch at school. I have not tried Bento-ing or experimenting in serving my daughters with cute looking packed foods. But, I guess this was one of the firsts. I used my gingerbread man shaped cookie cutter to serve both my girls with peanut butter sandwiches. The scraps satisfied me, I have no problem with that.
Since I have been Pinterest-ing for quite sometime now, I have seen pretty cute and clever ideas how to serve kids with fun and healthy snacks. From the simplest to the most creative ideas, Pinterest have it! So, if you have that calling to be creative in the foods you serve to your kids, have fun with Bento and Pinterest too!
It was Paris” first time. And just like a woman, it was quite hard for her. Paris is my cousin”s Chihuahua and her brother, they named Taguro, is their babies” dad. She gave birth to 2 cute very dark Brown pups.
They were present and attended during Paris” labor and had help from a vet. Since Paris is just a small dog, they were charged 4K. And I think it is because of a CS delivery. See, whelping (a new word I have learned – the term for dogs giving birth, or birthing dog) is costly but I guess the fee is not bad at all, Paris was well taken cared of, so as both her pups.
While dogs are giving birth, again, just like any woman, soft words of encouragement is recommended. Though dogs are known to be self reliant when they are to give birth, it is still necessary to prepare for her. They like dark and quiet corners if they are to whelp at home. Nowadays, it is indeed best to bring them to the vet”s clinic just as to ensure the dogs” safety.
Paris is now at home together with her little ones. She is really doing a good job feeding her cute little puppies. Upin is what they called the male puppy and Ipin for the female one. Upin and Ipin though, the animated Malaysian tv series are twin brothers.

My Cherry Mobile Flare (mobile phone) was only bought just last year but I have to let it rest for now.
First, I had issues with its battery charger after t’was used for another phone by a nephew. So, I decided to stop using it to avoid damaging my phone itself and ended up using another phone’s battery charger, a Samsung cellphone charger. What a bad move it was! I was so worried damaging my phone that I failed to take care of its battery. I feel bad, and I honestly feel stupid too. I was so into the benefit of having a phone camera to use and eager about joining IG photo a day challenges that I did not even notice that my Flare’s battery wouldn’t last for at least 4 hours anymore. I have been reprimanding my elder daughter because of her habit of using my phone while being recharged that I too have been damaging its battery in another way – using the wrong charger!
Yes, I am fully responsible for its damage. It came to a point where the phone (while in the middle of a text message or status update) will just shut off even if it shows that it was fully charged. And a point that I need to recharge the phone every hour. That actually scared me. I should have purchased a new charger. Now, I HAVE to purchase a charger and a battery replacement. My Cherry Mobile Flare S100 is at rest because its battery is bloated! I removed the battery immediately when I found out, I didn’t want to have to get a new phone yet, that is!
Bloated battery is not new to me, to my phone, it is. My Nikon S2500 digital camera’s battery is bloated too. I left it on charge overnight. Well, not really me. It did not really need recharging but my curious little girl Roey connected its charger thinking it needed it just because she cannot turn it on. Talk about determination and curiosity!
Here are some reasons that damages a battery:
1. Overcharging the device.
2. Using the device while being recharged.
3. Using the wrong charger. It is really important to READ.
These will definitely damage a mobile device’s battery. Worst, blow it!
So, as soon as I get a new battery and charger, I know what to do – lesson learned eh?!
Every Mom wants to serve her child/children all the healthy foods there is and it would bring her so much joy if the kids would like it and enjoy! I never had trouble giving veggies and fruits to my girls. They’re both curious and experimental (with the different tastes), I may say. Now that they’re able to help me out with little things and chores, I ensure to compensate them (okay, reward is the word) with healthy snacks.
Nutty Banana cake
And I give in to sweets too, sometimes. In the next photo, lucky Roey has a 70 grams of assorted candies. That includes caramel fudge cubes I requested. Ha Ha!

So, do you given in to their sweets requests too?
A stay-at-home-mom has to be creative in different aspects and levels, that is. I guess it is one requirement to keep a Mom’s sanity, haha! Kidding aside, I have not mastered any of my interests, I just try to learn things a little each day. Since I was a kid, crafting never failed to get my attention. And it just continued now that I am already a mom.
Last February, I made something glittery for my elder daughter’s ramp modeling project at school. The school has always reminded not to spend so much for their costumes and encouraged the students and so as the parents to make use of something old, to re-purpose and bring out the creativeness. Since we are cost cutting for the theme “futuristic”, I decided on a DIY shoes. We used K’s old Maroon flats (quite small already but still fits) and turned it to a glittery pair instead. She liked it a lot!
What you need:
A pair of shoes
Glue (I used rugby, Toluene free)
small paint brush or old toothbrush
(For the foil flower)
Foil (cut in circles)
2 Pellon fabric (cut in 2″ round)
The process is just simple. Wipe clean the pair of slippers and spread (using the brush) enough amount of glue to the shoes. Let stand for about 2 to 3 minutes and spread the glitters generously. Remember to lineup old newspaper on your work area so as to catch the glitter remains. You are not to throw them away, of course. Once the whole area has been covered, let it dry. You can brush it again with glue to lock in the glitters. I did not. I mean, I didn’t bother because I forgot to… hahaha!
For the foil flowers, I followed the steps I found from a Pinterest post. There are different variations you can pick from.
I will definitely do this again, if not with shoes, I will sure find other stuff to glitter!
